CONTENT

Identification

All UK residents must be able to produce a recent Utility Bill or Bank Statement dated within the last three months and a valid credit or debit card in the name of the main hirer. International hirers must be able to produce a passport and valid credit card in the name of the main hirer.

Additional Drivers

Additional Drivers are charged at £25 per week or £4.00 per day. If you require additional drivers they must be present at the time of hiring and are subject to the same restrictions as the main driver. Charges for the additional driver must be paid at the time of hiring.

Driving Licences

Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75 years of age and able to produce a full valid British or International Driving Licence held for at least one year. All international hirers must provide a readable unexpired licence from their country of origin. If the licence is not in English, an international driving licence must be provided also. It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate licence. We must be informed of any endorsements on the drivers licence, as we may not tbe able to take your booking. No refunds will be given for rentals rejected due to non production of a valid driving licence or undisclosed endorsements. Please note that if you have a new photocard driving licence you will need to have the paper counterpart with you. Photocopied or faxed driving licences will NOT be acceptable.

Payment

A deposit of £150 per week or part thereof is required at the time of booking.

Balance of payment is required in full at the time of collection.

A damage deposit will be taken at the beginning of each rental in the sum of £500 held by us until the vehicle is returned to us in good condition clean and with the waste tanks emptied.

In the event of an Insurance claim for damage to the vehicle or a claim from a third party(where you were held at fault), the cost of the claim will be deducted from your deposit.

For accidental damage £500.00 is your maximum liability. For damage caused by negligence the full cost of rectification is chargeable.

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance for use in the UK is included within the hire charge. The insurance is only valid for the period of the hire, thus any late return would automatically constitute a traffic offence under the Road Traffic Act. Invalid insurance means the driver and main hirer become personally liable for any accident damage to the motorhome, third party property and third party personal injuries. Insurance cover is for the vehicle and equipment only. Personal possessions are not covered; hirers are advised to take out holiday insurance.

Travel Abroad

Hirers travelling abroad will require a minimum of continental comprehensive insurance, and 5 Star cover which will be supplied by JUST DIESEL CARS LTD at an additional cost to the hirer

Excluded Costs

Personal accident insurance.

Additional Driver requirements should be notified and paid for at the time of booking.

Fuel

We supply the vehicle with an amount of fuel requesting that you return the vehicle with a similar amount on a like for like basis. Failure to do so will result in a charge being levied for per 1/8th tank.

Traffic Offences

An administration charge of £50.00 plus Vat will be levied per parking offence, plus the excess parking charge, or any penalty charges for Speeding or Road Traffic offences, and any other Traffic Infringement charges.

Deposits

All hirers MUST provide a valid credit or debit card in the name of the hirer at the time of hiring as a form of deposit.

Insurance restrictions

Our insurers impose restrictions that mean we are unable to hire to persons in certain occupations. These include professional entertainers, professional sports persons, publicans, nightclub owners, owners of gaming establishments, members of the foreign military and students.

Passengers

Our rental vehicles are insured for a maximum number of passengers, and cannot accept responsibility if the vehicle is not appropriate to fit all passengers and luggage on arrival if details were not supplied at the time of booking.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any vehicles, any infringement of this condition will incura minimum charge of £100.00. For the benefit of other users your cooperation would be appreciated.

Animals

We regret we prefer not to allow animals, however if pet owners wish to take their pets on holiday with them, a supplementary fee of £30 per hire is chargeable. Any damage incurred or cleaning required will be charged to the hirer, in full.

Collection and Returns

Weekly Hire is Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday. Vehicles are available for collection between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm and should be returned between 8.30 am and 11.00 am

The Hirer acknowledges delivery of the vehicle and the contents free from any defect or damage and complete . The Hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the Company's premises.

Upon returning the Company's representative will check the vehicle for damage, cleanliness etc.

A charge of £60 will be made for unemptied chemical toilet tanks.

Liabilities

We accept no liability for replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential loss claims arising from motorhome breakdown, fair wear and tear excepted, accident or any other such related causes. All accidents must be reported immediately by telephone to 0845 260 4444. An accident report form must be completed at the termination of hire.

The hirer shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred for speeding, parking fines, congestion charges and for any other offences committed against the Road Traffic Act or traffic regulations.

The hirer shall be responsible for all overhead damage resulting from any incident, overhead damage is defined from ground to in excess of 6 feet from the ground. Damage to windscreen, tyres and punctures are the responsibility of the hirer. You are required to check tyre pressures and engine fluid levels as specified in the driver's manual.

The hirer is required to keep the motorhome under their control throughout the hire period. It must be locked at all times when unattended.

Mechanical Difficulties and Accidents

In the event of any mechanical problems or accidents, it is important that the incident is reported to us within 24 hours. You must also complete an accident form by the end of the rental period. In the case of accidents the local police should be informed and a signed police report obtained. Full details of third parties should be obtained, including their name, address and insurance details. You should retain copies of all rental documentation in the event that an insurance company may become involved. Compensation cannot be considered when this procedure is not adhered to. A checkout for must be signed on return of the vehicle. Failure to do so may lead to delay in the investigation of potential disputes regarding insurance excess charges.

General Conditions

All bookings by our clients are subject to our terms and conditions as detailed on the rental agreement. No other terms, conditions and warranties expressed or implied by the law, custom and course of dealing shall form any part of any contract between Just Diesels Ltd and our clients, except for those terms implied by the law whose application is mandatory. The client acknowledges that in making a booking with Just Diesels Ltd it does so only on the basis of the material contained in this document. All other statements or representations made by Just Diesels Ltd, its employees or agents are of no effect unless confirmed by us to the client in writing. You should satisfy yourself that you understand and agree to its terms and conditions as you will be subject to and must comply with these terms. Just Diesels Ltd reserves the right to levy a government increase in VAT that may be introduced after the production of this document. Just Diesels Ltd liability to the client for any loss, damage, injury or accident whatsoever, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract or any other cause shall not exceed £2,000 or twice the invoiced price of the rental of the vehicle concerned (whichever is the greater), provided that nothing in this clause shall limit Just Diesels Ltd liability for death or personal injury caused by it's negligence. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Just Diesels Ltd will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The client will indemnify Just Diesels Ltd against this in respect of such claims this list is not exclusive.
